Purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance upon registering for a trip/course protects your investment and our commitment to you. Trip Cancellation Insurance will give you the peace of mind knowing that if something out of your control occurs and you will not be able to attend, you will be protected. Trip Cancellation Insurance can be purchased through a third party provider such as UniGlobe (info below). Some guests may also have this type of insurance coverage on their travel credit cards- however it is recommended that you review the protections of each policy to ensure you're covered- this is your responsibility upon registering.

Please be aware if you decline to take out Cancelation/Interruption insurance, Selkirk Powder Descents is not responsible for finding a replacement for your reservation or, to refund any payments taken. We strongly recommend that you contact our travel partners Wanetta or Olivia of Uniglobe Specialty Travel regarding very comprehensive travel insurance options.
Some of the highlights of coverage are: unexpected illness/injury to you or anyone in your immediate family or travel partner. Medical which includes Air Evacuation, scheduled air delays or road closures due to avalanche or traffic accident that would prevent you from getting to, or leaving your adventure.
There is also an added Cancel for any reason benefit available to Canadians and Americans if you purchase a policy within 7 days of making your initial deposit/payment. This benefit gives you the ability to cancel for any reason aside from the insured reasons; such as, deciding not to go, unexpected business meetings, Canada has poor snow conditions, etc. (Terms do apply)
